Guest sarahfu
My husband and I have new Win7 64-bit laptops and are both having the same problem. Copy and paste works fine from Office 2010 app to Office 2010 app as well as between Notepad and Office 2010 apps and from IE9 to Notepad. However, if we attempt to copy and paste from IE9 into an Office 2010 app, what appears is only a large black oval. System details below. This is a big headache for me as I write and send a middle school email newsletter each week and the email application does not have spell check. I used to simply copy & paste from the browser preview into Word but can't do that now. FYI I did just discover I could copy and paste from IE9 into Notepad and then into Word, something I didn't think about, but doing this often munges the formatting, such as losing spaces between words, greatly affecting the spell check results. Question - I recall being encouraged to install the Office 2010 32-bit version (during the install screens), despite having a 64-bit machine. Could that be the culprit?
