Hi

I am trying to capture a WIM image of a reference computer for deployment of Windows 7 ultimate x64. The problem is that when i run the command in Windows PE i get the message: "e" is not recognized as an internal or external command.

The command i am running is: e:\imagex.exe /capture c: d:\images\myimage.wim "Win7 install" /compress fast /verify

The command is from the book "70-680 configuring windows 7"

I have tried to change the letter but get the same message - also tried to run command without drive-letter, starting the command with imagex.exe or only imagex but get same message:imagex or imagex.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command. I have checked that image.exe is on the cd-rom. If someone could tell what is wrong eventully what the command should be it would be great.

Diskpart volume:

DISKPART> list volume

Volume Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info

Volume 0 F CD_ROM CDFS DVD-ROM 160 MB Healthy

Volume 1 C System Rese NTFS Partition 100 MB Healthy

Volume 2 D NTFS Partition 102 GB Healthy

Volume 3 E testdisk NTFS Partition 29 GB Healthy

Thanks in advance

Regards
