In comments released Thursday, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the Archbishop of Westminster, said sorry for the "hurt" caused by adoption agencies acting in the church's name. Nichols apologises in the documentary, in which women speak of their experiences having their babies adopted via the Catholic Church, the Church of England and the Salvation Army charity.
