Our traffic compared to brawl-hall CLICK HERE !! The gap in red during august was MY fuckup, but were slowly building up again on google as the posts become archived. So our September traffic is starting out GREAT so far.

 

I noticed ALOT of traffic to the "FUCK KANYE WEST" post, try to keep your post topics GOOGLE FRIENDLY, as in, try to use KEYWORD TERMS in the name of the topic.

 

You can see that the term "FUCK KANYE WEST" will put GF at #1 on google.

 

Also using "PISSES ME OFF" at the end of the topics in the "GF" forum help too. I.E. "light bulbs that burn out piss me off"...

 

THIS is how we increase site traffic/membership.

If you type "theangerpoint" on google ,you are like the first or second hit. That made me want to become a member right there! FUCKING AWESOME meta tag work~ Woot Woot ,lol

Ya aparently ALOT can be done if you fuck with the metatags ( I am learning ever so slowly) There is a way to kind of hack google so that you take it over preactically, but I am not sure how it's done (just that it IS done)

Thats not OUR secret, metatags are for losers.

If I have my way, GF will eventually turn into the AOL you always wanted combined with some kick ass VR type navigation to paying members... but that is a LOONG ways away... Were still slowly adding stuff we talked about over 6 months ago in our GF roadmap at EXACTALLY the pace we want, and focusing on gaining more and more credibility across the net.. It's a time consuming task, but we are both very confident we can do it, and are VERY happy with the results we have gotten so far, with things like our Corruptable Mods, our idiot box, our forum structure, our google archiving abilitys, our MODS MAKE OUR OWN RULES THEN BREAK THEM type Moderating, and most important, Bob had planned from the start to make the behind the scenes MOD team more of an elective type team that works together instead of calling all the shots from their point of view.

 

 

What we get is a team that doesn't have one fucking person on it who thinks being a Moderator somehow gives them the power to dictate others opinions, or to even play GOD with an opinion because they don't like it. Instead we look for ways that EVERYBODY who is slamming the shit out of each others ideals can turn around on ANOTHER topic and be friends with the guy they were argueing with.

 

This is why we don't want argueing in the MEMBERS LOUNGE or LIVE CHAT, yet on the flip side, will totally mess with people in the piss pot.

 

Plus we don't say to people that they can't spam our site with websites they like, we have a forum devoted to it. We believe there is a place for every level of user on GF from the trolls, whores and spammers, to the very serious debaters. and that's all we really push to do.

 

And myself being an egotistic about it, I think we can set a standard here for OTHER web boards to follow and learn from.

Sounds interesting. I do love this place and always enjoy taking a best ally from one thread and seing them as my mortal enemy on the next. I have taken a LOT of shit on other forums for beig that way, but it's just natural.

I have a feeling about your designer. I have walked away from alot of decent investments because of lack of knowlege on the production area........ Let me know when stock/shares are up please.

Sorry, the PRODUCTION AREA of GF is for Mods and Admins eyes only, I can honestly tell you, I have the most unfucking real concept for this board, but it takes BABY STEPS.

 

Step 1. OWN GOOGLE TOP SPOTS WITH YOUR SUBJECTS

Step 2. Draw in members selectively (using Google hits and USENET gateways, NOT BY LINKS FROM OTHER SITES TO YOURS OR SPONSORSHIPS !!),till you get a designated point.

Step 3. Break the site down into categories

Step 4. Select your Creative team / Mods who can work with your sites theme and the members it draws in by just name alone...

Step 5. Sort people into groups and cater to their wants.

Step 6. Gain enough selective members and posts to be one of the big boys of the net and get yourself ranked at BigBoards.com .(Were almost at 1000, but only 5% are regulars). Concidering our member base and RANK with Brawl Halls rank, they have what 20,000 MEMBERS in 5 years ?? Were fucking doing GREAT, and at a couple of key points, we BEAT THEM with 1/20th the members !!! Bob has achieved 1,000,000 posts in 5 years on one of his boards that he sold, were pretty sure we can top that number here at GF. And if done right, become THE PREMIRE place to rant rave and bitch on the net.

Step 7 and beyond: CLASSIFIED CHAOS, MADNESS, AND FUN !!

 

Like I said in another post somewhere, I've seen Mohammed Rots In Hell start a subject and it hit #1 on google with the key phrase he used in the topic name in just under 2 days.

 

We know how to get into google high on the chart and how to do it fast (It's good to have contacts in high places ), but it takes MEMBERS to make the topics that will draw google hits.

 

And the only way we stay on top, is the subjects must stay credible, educational, yet totally off the charts wild and hard pressed so that people WANT to read more, and WANT to participate in the sillyness..

 

And sixes, as far as I care you can be our fucking honorary troll, but PLEASE don't pick on LEGACY members, or annoy them until they get to know you better. Their good people, and GREAT chat buddies if you just open up to people, or you'll only end up pissing off EVERYBODY, but the guys in WHITE, just give them all the hell you want, but keep it out of a regular topic,(The PISS POT might just be your favorite forum to stalk;) ), it's all I ask.

 

But I'll tell you honestly sixes, its SOOOO much more fun to pick at someones brain to see how they think then it is to flame someone. You'd be surprised at how you can change people's views on life:cool:
