Chester has throat problems?

I may be mistaking but i've heard from alot of people that he has cancer or something in his throat?

I don't think he has cancer. It's just another rumor I think!

No, the man doesn't have cancer. But, in all seriousness, can you expect to be perfectly healthy all the time if you had a career doing what he does? Especially with a past like he's had... I'm sure his immune system isn't the best due to all the crack he smoked as a kid. (generalization, Dunno what drug he did, but he did somethin.... lmfao)

Yeah, that was 3 years ago. Chaz has a reputation of getting violently ill. Though I don't think he has cancer. He's too young. Though if he keeps smoking, he's bound to get cancer, or something. >.>

i recently bought the Ultimate Tribute to Linkin Park album.but some other guys r singing the songs.there not so cool.but the instrumental music is good.

I thought I read that Chester stopped smoking.

He stopped smoking dope n stuff but he still pounds on the ciggies I believe

why does everyone always assume you get cancer from smoking, i think its hereditary.

There's like a bagillion chemicals in them ciggs, and prolly half of which are known carcinogens

You can get cancer a bunch of ways... and theres a bunch of different types. But thats not the point.

Anyway, I think the rumors of Chester being ill always persist because of his physical state (lets face it, he is skinny and usually pale) and he does smoke. Many people see this and assume that something is wrong with him, most likely.

Chester continues to struggle with acid reflux disease, an ailment that forced Lp to cancel their show in Evansville, Indiana (April 11, 2003) due to an infected pharynx in his throat.

 

In 2003, Lp was forced to cancel their European tour in June due to a viral infection Chester developed. He was sent to intensive care at LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre when he lost feeling in his body and collapsed.

I finally got out of the hospital over the weekend after 9 days, and the doctor instructed me to rest for the next 2 - 3 weeks. Right now it seems like it was some bacteria or virus that spread throughout my intestines and body, putting me in intense pain. It also would not let me eat for a week. My doctors and nurses were amazing, and very helpful during my stay. We are working on when we will be making up the missed European headline dates, and I am really bummed we had to miss the festivals. I plan on playing our warm up show in Las Vegas on June 27th, and ripping everyone's face off this summer on SUMMER SANITARIUM. I also wanted to say I truly appreciate the tens of thousands of get-well emails I got from fans. Our fans really are the best in the world."

 

Mike also commented on the illness at the time:

"They did an MRI. It’s not in his head, it’s not in his brain," he said. "They’ve tested everything and narrowed the area down to his lower abdomen they say that that’s a place where it’s hard to get a diagnosis by." He added, "You know they can put cameras to check your stomach, they can check your lower areas, but that lower abdomen is a place where they can’t really send anything in there so they have to just do these scans and tests." Mike also said that Chester will face surgery once the cause of his problems is discovered.

The rocker's symptoms have now been diagnosed and he is set to receive surgery for a hiatal hernia, a condition that occurs when part of the stomach slides above the diaphragm, allowing stomach acid to pour into the oesophagus.

 

Chester - who is currently touring with the "Somewhere I Belong" band - says, "Every night when I sing, it kind of p***es off the hernia. Last night I was vomiting when I was singing."

Well for one at least one of those ailments (if not two) are reoccuring illnesses - think about it.

Ohh noo..i've heard he had some problems with his voice....but i hope he's fine now!!!! I wouldnt want to go further and imagine the worse..
