Well half a season on it now, it's been good to me so far.

Played more with the shocks to get them setup better, so plush..

Anyway, here is what it looks like now, minus black powermadds I put on last week.

Nice looking build! Glad you are getting it dialed in and setup right. What did you end up running for gearing?

Thanks for the compliments, Hoser!

I'm running 13/38 on short tracks and 14/38 for anything larger.. Still want to try 13/37 and maybe 13/36 but we shall see. When I get a more aggressive build I'll be able to gear up for the short tracks and probably run 14/3X all the time. I have to clutch a bit out of corners if I don't set myself up perfect with a 14t right now. (I'm a fatty @ 205 :D )

Matt: I'm going to be sending you my head this winter for a little dynomite magic ;)

Edit: I saw before I said I'd post my thoughts on the MXR6's.. I use them in loamy sand and they hook up like crazy. Only guy that beats me (on the starts and on the podium) runs the same tire setup as me and loves it.

Thanks El Mamito, I'll have to pick up a #37 rear and give it a whip.

I was referring to the Holeshot MXR6's, they are great for sandy MX tracks but will wear out lice crazy. Best wearing tires I've ran (for wear ONLY) are by far the Kenda Klaw's.. I pound the **** out of them for practice and they take it. never had a hole or puncture. They aren't the best for traction, but for wear they are good.

Yeah I'm runnin Klaw's right now and after they get a lil glazed they lose a noticeable amount of traction. However they are so puncture resistant and long wearing that I think I'd buy them again unless something better comes out. May even try the Kutters. My MXR6's wore out so fast and took so many punctures it was crazy. They did hook up good though like you say.

Yah for sure, Riot. I'll never use those MXR6's for anything other than the sandy tracks, I take them off right after an event and put the Klaws back on. (I practice in hard pack clay but race in loamy type soil). I want to try the kutters too, they seem to be pretty reasonably priced, **** klaws just want to slide right out when your railing corners, especially on the clay.
