I see similar questions to this have been asked but none of the solutions suggested were applicable or worked.
The computer is question is Windows 7 with Office 2007 and Internet Explorer 8. When the user clicks a link to open a .csv file, instead of opening in Excel, it opens in IE.
If you save the file and then open it, it does open in Excel so the association is working.
With Excel already set to open .csv files and after having reset all settings in IE and trying other numerous suggestions, the .csv files are still opening in IE, not Excel.
Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this?
