With a nine-year, $24 billion television deal with ESPN and Turner Sports making for the most prosperous era in the history of the NBA, the deal was reached on Wednesday -- one day before an opt-out deadline -- and if ratified as expected will insure no work stoppage will stop the cash from flowing. "It's amazing, it's great," said Paul, the NBA Players Association president who was particularly pleased with provisions for health care and health insurance for former players. Continue reading...
