A US college football player, who alleges he was struck by Golden State Warrior star Draymond Green, has been released by his school, the coach said Wednesday night. Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio told American sports broadcaster ESPN that cornerback Jermaine Edmondson asked to leave the team and his request was granted. "In discussions with Jermaine Edmondson following spring practice and in the weeks thereafter, it became clear that Jermaine wanted to play a larger role on the team," Dantonio said.
