Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory was suspended for a minimum of one year without pay Thursday by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy for the third time in two seasons. Gregory will miss the entire playoff run for the Cowboys after missing the team's first 14 games of the season due to prior substance abuse policy violations. Gregory, who cannot even apply for reinstatement until November 6, served a four-game ban to begin the 2016 campaign for a violation that took place last season and served an extra 10-game ban for a second violation, reportedly missing a drug test in the off-season.
