atlantic
ok, I'll start, of course there are too many to tell - lol; but one that sticks in my mind is I had a neighbor who used to beat up his g/f, they lived above me; usually I would mind my own business, but one night I heard her scream not the baby, so of course I called the cops on him. Then a few months later the other neighbors got married and invited us all to the wedding, so I end up at abuse boys' house that night, and he tells me someone called the cops on him and he thought it was the people across the hall; so now I'm thinking wtf, I can't let them take the rap, so I confess fully expecting to get booted out; and strangely enough we end up being best of friends til this day - lol! I lived with a guy once who used to beat me for talking to my girlfriends; once he knew I wouldn't put up with it, he didn't do it again either. Some men can stop. Quote Do the right thing! Lethalfind
Too be honest with you, once a person has crossed a certain line, I never trust them again... If I found out that they had done something that vile...I would never associate with that person. Your just asking for trouble. Abusing your spouse, children is definetly on my list is unforgiveable sins. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

Cause I would have let his ass to rot where I found it..Believe me, at first I wanted too; but he showed up in desperation needing money and pleaded his whole case to me, for which I helped him out , nothing more than symphathy really; but luckilly for his wife and daughter he got his shit together. Normally, I wouldn't have had the the time for him, and I did hate him at first, but he was really just in need of help, and I had plenty of time, my fiancee was in the hospital with brain cancer so what did I care. But come on now, don't you have any confessions miss Kathy? Quote Do the right thing!
Lethalfind
My confession is that whenever I have done something like you, give someone who is a scumbag a pass, it has come back to bite me. atlantic
Ok, here's another good one, I had just started working for this company, and had no idea who anyone was. One day at lunch, I couldn't find a seat, so I pulled up to a table where the president of the company and the ceo were, and sat down; when they asked me what I would do to change the company, I happilly told them what I'd do. My new g/f tried to walk by me like she didn't know me; and I insisted that she sit down; she didn't speak a word the whole time. Anyways, the pres laughed his ass off; I worked for every division of the company and was there for 7 years til I decided to leave. Quote Do the right thing! Lethalfind
Oh shit, I hope that's not true LF! It is true, I am VERY careful about who I let in my life. I would NEVER loan money to someone like you describe. My primary concern is my daughter, I don't have the extra time or money to get wrapped up with someone as problematic as you describe. I think people like the President and CEO like it when people can speak frankly and openly too them. Many would be intimadated and not be able to say a word. I'm sure they valued your forthrightness. atlantic
OK, here's another good one, one time, driving with my son's dad and his brother we got stopped by the police, (beforee my son was born), and he questioned my son's uncle and dad about their drinking; well of course they lied and said they weren't drinking' obvious bullshit, as the car smelt like a brewery; so the officer questioned everyone in the car who denied drinking, and they all denied it of course. He skipped right by me, and I piped up, "I was drinking" to which he flashed the light in my face and asked me that time if I had been, to which I replied "yeah, I"m drunk"; he started laughing and let us go. Many would be intimadated and not be able to say a word. I'm sure they valued your forthrightness. Something similar happened to me when I was going through flight attendant training. They treated us like dogs so I spoke up and respectfully said we are adults with college educations, families, and careers we are willing to leave to work for the airlines. Treating us like children is ridiculous. My classmates were telling me to sit my ass down because they were afraid I was going to get kicked out (I was already on thin ice) but figured it needed to be said. After our group, they updated the policies. Also got to meet the CEO, Gordon Bethune. We talked about the Left Behind book series for like an hour. lol Quote Blah. Lethalfind
I think that was awesome. You probably wouldn't have been able to stand working there if you had not. Somehow employers like to get a handle on people and treat them like you outlined so they are affraid to leave... Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom. atlantic
I once worked with a guy at Verizon who told me how to deal with my son's ex; he said: "People only do to you what you let them" fucking A right Ricky , thank you man". Lethalfind
OK, I think I have one. An old high school friend gave me a job that I was over qualified for. She asked me to NOT tell anyone we had been friends before. All anyone knew was that she and I attended the same high school. Over the three years I worked there she abused our friendship in that she tried to use me as a sort of mole to find out things about the people I worked with. I didn't let that happen. I felt like I was walking a fine line everyday. I didn't want to betray the good people I was working beside but I didn't want to piss off the person who had given me the job. I had seen she was a total bitch in the time I worked there. When I got laid off, I danced and celebrated...AND TOLD ALL THE LITTLE SECRETS I KNEW ABOUT THE BITCH WE ALL WORKED FOR TO THE PEOPLE WHO WERE STILL THERE BEING MISTREATED BY HER. I guess my loyalty has limits...don't piss down my neck and tell me its raining. I later found out that the bitch got fired...how hilarious. What goes around, comes around. What goes around, comes around.OMG, reminds me of my cousin Deb, I used to work for a mutual fund comp, and relatives could not work with you, so we lied, and she amazingly got a job in my division. One day, she just walked out; of course, she warned me in advance, well my boss pulled me aside later that day and asked, "Where's Debbie" -you two seem pretty close (LOL): I never told. Of course I played stupid and denied really knowing her; now, another girl I worked with would have me leave work eary and I'd call in as her relative to get her out early so we could go out drinking together in Boston, and they fell for it everytime - lol!
