Crazy Things Your Band Does

well, not so much crazy, but stuff the bands you watch on stage, like say, Chester used to jump off amps and stairs an whatever, no exactly crazy, but it beats standing there lol

anyways, stuff like that

Adam Lazzara from Taking Back Sunday, loves to swing his microphone around, especially around his neck and twirling it, he actually smashed his bassist Mat in the head during a concert in England, as well in 04 warped tour, hanging upside down off the roof while singing among other things

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz(the scurge of all rock loving fans...*rolls eyes*) loves to somersault with his bass around the stage, jumping off a 30ft wall during one stage performance, Joe loves to do a jump-spin thing with his guitar

UVERworld(Japanese rock band) band members like to tandem jump at certain points of songs

Yellowcard's Violinist Sean Mackin does backflips off amps at points in a concert

my friends band has a bassist who likes to spin-jump off the top of an amp, like a big fat amp, he nearly broke his leg doing it, but hes determined to keep going til he makes it look "cool"

that kinda thing, im sure uve seen crazier ****, but thats just a small start

im sure there is prolly more

Trent Reznor smashes as much of the equipment as he possibly can, which I find strangely endearing. Well, I guess he doesn't so much any more, but still.

Nightwish were discussing in their car why toilet paper is white -

Tuomas (the keyboarder) - "it's white cos when you go to wipe your *** you have to see how much **** you've get left to wipe, if it was brown, how the **** can you tell how much **** you wiped off your ***?"

I'm glad they didn't censor that off their DVD.

Rammstein is pretty extreme when playing live, from theater-esque performances to pyrotech work to headbanging and running around

then there's stuff with local bands like a guitarist running into the crowd/moshpit while playing on full tilt in the middle of an energetic song, other bands jump and twitch violently while playing, with their eyes closed sometimes hitting each other pretty hard lol

^ I'd love to see Rammstein live, have a DVD of theirs and it's just brilliant (and HUGE!) Now THAT'S how to put on a show! (Mind you would hate to be one of the people at the very back of the crowds they have there, you'd be there for the atmosphere cause you wouldn't be able to see squat)

At the Slipknot concert I was fascinated by the drummer (the main one) or more technically how the drumkit and riser did it's gravity-defying theatrics during a song/solo! (How it went up off the stage, turned on an axis to a 90 degree angle and did a continual 360 degree rotation while the drummer was still performing, for those of you that haven't seen it). I've never personally seen another band do that and it's what I really took away from the concert - that was just incredible!!

i think whats interesting about kanye's performances...is that he is generally the only person on stage. No dj. and he has this weird *** platform...with a huge screendisplaying like meadows and stuff its kinda weird and kinda crazy in a way...not to mention he always has a monolouge where he gets stuff off his chest...even if he knows he's gunna get boo'd i think that takes some *****

My favorite musician doesn't even do music videos, concerts, and only printed interviews. His name is Burial, aka William Bevan, and has remained anonymous until recently.
