Cutting?

Do you do it? I know a lot of chicks do it. I want to know why.

I used to do it. I stopped a while back.

As for why, that varies depending on the person. For me personally, it was a response to being bullied (I can look after myself nowadays) but it's different for different people.

I learnt in some research studies, more guys do it then females because females talk about their problems when guys resort to violence.

 

i have thought about it heaps of times, but there is no point now i have been though a lot worse.

plus i would hurt other people as well...

Meh I never really did that, only once or twice when i was like 11 sumthing. That was coz family problems, thats it. I know htis chick who cuts herself when she doesnt see her man or her hair gets fucked, now thats weird.

I used to scratch and cut a little but I haven't done it in a long while.

I can't explain why I started or why I stopped. Its too much thinking

another cutting thread.. atleast this isnt one of the other genious ideas like burning.... rubberbanding (>.>) or scartching.....People should seriously stop cutting, it only hurts yourself more....

i'd like to say i've quit for good... BUT i cant and be honest about it

 

i did / do it for various reasons... it used to be that after being bullied when i was younger i'd ger angry... and alot of times i'd take that out on my little sister... (hell i pulled a knife on her once) later i'd realize what i did...(or wanted/tried to do) and i'd cut because i felt i deserved it... recently though i've done it after i say/do something stupid and it makes some one else realy upset... or just because i am so depressed i dont realy care if i do something stupid like cut too deep... (thankfully those instances are rare)

 

but i've been cut free for..... *counts* a week?... befor that i was good for almost a month.. befor that for almost 6 months...

well, i never wanted to cut, having broken hands makes it hard. and.. idk, i never did it on purpose, i'd punch things as hard as i could, punch until it hurt, and then i'd do the same thing with the other hand.

I was kinda like you Isaac, I would just hit things, but I never took it far enough to break bones.

after they broke.. that's when i realized i should stop,, lol. it's amazing that i can still type 130 WPM with how many times i've broken my fingers.

thats amazing lol, once i fractured my wrist...it never healed properly and it still hurts like crap when i practise piano for too long...so your hands must really really hurt

 

 

before i joined lpf i didnt have a journal so vent in, when i felt depressed or angry id just sleep it off or ask someone for a hug.

the most damage Ive done with hitting somthing was making a dent in the wall when I puched it. Its weird though...it didnt even hurt at all when I did it.

I do it. and I'm not proud of it. Did several attempts to stop, I managed to stop for 1 and a half week longest. I think I might need professional help, but i dont like that idea. I cut for various reasons. I used to be aggressive when I didnt cut. took it out on my family, but they dont deserve that so id rather take it out on myself. Also I do it to forget my past or when I'm angry with myself. You dont have to tell me its stupid caus i know it is.

hm.. i do sometimes but only on the palm of my left hand(makes it less noticable) not deep either just to see blood and to feel a bit of pain(im weird) im to scare to go deep and i see no point and only when something bad has happen like when my uncle screamed at me for all most an hour at my nanas house when he no fucking right to, stuff to do with family*shakes fist at stupid uncles* or when i get teased badly at skool.. havent done it for bout 1-2 weeks,

while doing it all i could think of was to go in deeper then i wouldn't be able to do it next time because there wouldn't be a next time....but after a dream i had i realized how much i could hurt the ones around me too,so since then i haven't done it and hopefully i won't again. But looking back i wish i had never started because maybe now it wouldn't seem hard to stop and maybe now i wouldn't have these stupid scars on my arm and maybe my friend wouldn't have saw them but i guess all i'm trying to say is whoever out there that may be thinking of starting...don't because you will never now how much you'll regret it.

I did before. I don't know why though. I thought it felt nice and stuff. I guess it was emotional, but I didn't realize it at the time. Yeah I'm wierd. But I thought I was just making light cuts, but I have a handful of scars I'd really not like. I now regret it.

I do it now because it's an addiction to me. I started because I couldn't handle emotions and stress and emotions from other people. (ex: peoples anger.)

ive never cut. i think abt it sometimes when my dad calls me on the phone in the morning and wakes me up rudely like hes upset cuz i didnt die in my sleep. (he doesnt live w/ me). but ive never done it and........i dunno

i always did it above my left ancle, nobody noticed it there.

im trying to stop. but with as much stress in my life as there is, it is

i also used to punch things until it hurt as well. i once put a hole in my wall bacause of that.
