(Reuters) - Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish came within one out of throwing the first no-hitter of the Major League Baseball season as the Texas Rangers beat the Boston Red Sox 8-0 on Friday. It was deja vu for Darvish, who last season came within one out of a perfect game against the Houston Astros. The right hander seemed set for the rare feat when he retired Boston's Dustin Pedroia and Adrian Beltre in the ninth inning.
