What makes a man, a man?:
Some say money, a tailored suit, power and having a throng of beautiful women on his arm makes one the ultimate man.
I completely disagree.
Anyone can accrue money. A tailored suit is merely a symbol. Even the insane are sometimes granted power. And a *****, 18 year old kid without a job is capable of sticking his baby maker in a host of pretty girls so I don't think that cuts it, either.
A man may not necessarily have power, but he is a leader. He does what is right and encourages others through his actions, not by exerting his will upon them, to follow his lead.
A man is patient, loving and kind. He treats his woman with respect and strives to always make her feel secure, cherished, and beautiful.
A man is a provider. In this day and age, he doesn't have to be the sole provider, but he does work hard to take care of his own to the best of his abilities.
A man is a protector. He always makes sure his loved ones feel safe and would walk where angels fear to tread so long as it would keep those he cared about out of harm's way.
A man is wise. He shares his wisdom with others (when prompted) and is still humble enough to listen, too.
A real man loves his momma and isn't skeered of doing "woman's work".
What makes a woman, a woman?:
A woman cares for those she loves and provides them with what they need to be happy, safe and healthy.
A woman trusts that those she cherishes will do the right thing, even if she isn't there to encourage them to take the right path.
A woman senses when you've had a bad day or need some comfort and at those times she gives you a soft place to fall.
A woman reserves judgement for those who wish to cause her or her loved ones harm, and in those instances her punishment is swift, fierce and unrivaled even by the fury of ****.
A woman believes in the people she loves even when they forget to believe in themselves.
A woman is capable of listening with both her mind and her heart.
