Prominent Black Activist Admits Branding Tea Party Racist Is Effective Tool For NAACP & Democrats

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 8:27 PM

Prominent black activist Mary Frances Berry admitted today that accusing the tea party activists of being racists is an effective tool for the democrats and far left organizations.

.

And, there you have it. Democrats are flinging the r-word as a political maneuver. We all knew it. Now they admit it.

Sick.

Notice. I posted this yesterday, before seeing the above information substantiating my assessment...

Isn't anyone else curious what is with the silence.
Not a single person from the Obama administration or President Obama himself have spoken a word to try to quell the manufactured race baiting and race claims that originated from the left.

Talk about astroturf.

This is the DNC using racial tensions to try to bring out black and Hispanic voters this fall.

Mary Berry isn't exactly someone who is liked in the Democrat party. In fact, this is the same chick that thinks blacks should have their own party.. and as for Democrats trying to steal the Latino vote. Well gee, what have Republicans done to warm the hearts over of Latinos besides push for xenophobic border laws?

If Democrats are trying to steal the Latino vote, they sure as **** don't need to try very hard.

Let's assume what you say is true. Does any of that make it OK to fuel/incite racial tensions for political gain?

So Fox News WASN'T inciting racial tension with, lets use just their most recent attempt... the Shirley Sherrod story?? I'd say my comment was right on the money.

You mean when they reported on an incident AFTER the White House fired a woman, (who in retrospect is a racist/marxist), after it happened?

No.

If anyone jumped to racist conclusions, and acted out of racial fear, it was the WH.

Keep drinking the kool-aid.

They did? No sorry, she was fired AFTER Fox News spewed their bullshit edited clip. That's actually what caused her to get fired in the first place. And check your facts, it WASN'T the White House who fired her, they're just the ones who got the blame.

Sure they over-reacted in firing her.. They kinda had no choice. It was all an effort to stomp out ANY racial tensions, and low and behold, what do we come to find out.. It was just another edited right wing propaganda clip

(who in retrospect is a racist/marxist)
Really?

Fox News has now made this woman into a racist in the eyes of any idiot who doesn't wanna accept or research the truth, the damage has been done.

BS, You need to do some fact checking. She was forced to resign before anything was said on Fox News. NOT ONE WORD of the incident was said before the end of the hour of Bill O'Reilley, 8 pm eastern time. She was told to pull over and resign, by the Obama administration, during her drive, in the afternoon.

Lies. Do your fact checking.

Ever heard of Fox and Friends? Comes on early in the morning.

I love how you defend Fox News. I suppose they WOULD deny it.

Guess I have no choice but to post that "LIBERAL MEDIA" truth

Again, what you people can't get through your heads, is the difference between commentary programs and news programs.

Not a single Fox News program aired anything about this story.

Facts please.

From FOX NEWS: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/20/ex-ag-official-says-video-showing-white-farmer-story-excludes-key-context/

"With regard to the initial media coverage of the resignation of USDA official Shirley Sherrod, we have come to the conclusion we were snookered by Fox News and Tea Party activist Andrew Breitbart into believing she had harmed white farmers because of racial bias," he said. "Having reviewed the full tape, spoken to Ms. Sherrod, and most importantly heard the testimony of the white farmers mentioned in this story, we now believe the organization that edited the documents did so with the intention of deceiving millions of Americans."
Now why on Earth would the guy who fired her make that statement about FOX NEWS if Fox News didn't report it first?

Sorry, YOU need to do some fact checking.

I don't know. Why would they say they were firing her because she was going (future tense) to be on Glenn Beck (which she wasn't)?

You and the WH need to do some fact checking.

P.S. The "snookered" comment was from the NAACP, also way after the WH fired her.

More fact checking, please.

Amazing, the guy who sent her the walking papers, says he did so AFTER being snookered by Fox news, and yet, you STILL deny Fox News had any part of it.

Fox News must have some sort of magical time warp.

OMISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

But you claim a single idiot with a racist sounding sign represents thousands of other people at a tea party? All those thousands of people without the sign must believe what that one guy believes?

Your doing exactly what they are doing, your avoiding talking about real problems buy calling everyone racist.

Show me the quote. Show me where Vilsac said he was "snookered".

He didn't it was Ben Jealous of the NAACP who said it.

Also goes to show how stupid Ben Jealous and the NAACP are. It's their own video.
