Hello, i come here to find a little help because i'm going nuts with my problem : we've revceived 70 PC HP 8200 Elite and there is no way to make them boot with PXE on our WDS server. I found a lot of discussion about that model, but nothing resolves my problem.
Here the description of my infrastructure :
- WDS on Windows 2008 R2
- boot.wim inside i've tried almost a thousand of drivers.
- Windows 7x86 SP1 image on WDS
- NIC on the PC : Intel 82579 LM ( damn it )
When i boot in PXE everything's fine until it try to find a network driver to access the share on WDS. If i plug another NIC inside the PC the PXE boot works fine and the Windows 7 image goes well on the machine. That's the only solution i've found at this day !
So i would like to know if someone had already encountered this problem, and how he solved it or how he by-passed it ?
