Diddy - Press

EJECT.

This guy doesn't know what hip hop really is. If somebody asked for some real hip hop, his new record should never even be thought of. And the guy can't rap. How many guests can you fit onto on album? Plus isn't he supposed to be some hot shot producer that complains about people's singing skills on MTV? He instead employs a bunch of people to do the production on Press Eject (Kanye West, Pharrell, Rich Harrison). Such a mediocre club record for such a big shot with all the tools and amenities of a premiere studio at hand. If he didn't have all this help, he would have..........nothing. This guy is full of it.

"Y'all know my name." Maybe if you can stop changing your stupid name every 20 seconds and do something worth listening to, we would.

Quite frankly Puff or P has never done it for me and he has somehow got worse and worse and worse as time has gone by. Quite frankly I find him less annoying when hes making money from wearing a suit then when he's putting out records, a must avoid.

All he EVER does is sample, sure that fundemental in hip hop and is strong in its foundation but he's crazy, not so much sampleing this time round but quite frankly it sucks. The production isnt too bad but the lyrics n dribble he comes up with, along with sub-par vocalists and overall terrible rapping shown by Diddy along with others its just not worth it.

It seems Diddy proves that a good studio a good album doesnt make, and its not as if he hasnt had the time, backing or money to come out with a top draw album.

but the lyrics n dribble he comes up with
That's because he can't even come up with his own lyrics. The album was ghost written.

It's sad. He's so much cooler in his Proactive Solution guest spots.

Well...I really like the album...because it's not just a collection of hits...it's a complete album that you can listen to from beginning to the end...of course Diddy's lyrics are not the best, but the beats and the guests he has on the album are all awesome...I think it's fun to listen to Diddy cause he's so self conscious...and so cocky...it's just funny...you shouldn't take him so serious....it's a fun album to enjoy...and it has a lot of nice club songs on it...and of course some songs are ghost written...but this album was the first one where he really wrote some songs on his own...there are alot of Hip Hop artists out there who have ghost writer...so don't blame him for that

^^

Something tells me u havent heard a complete album, the is very little complete about it. It may very well be mixed better then his previous work but thats about it.

And I cant believe he had to pay someone else for such shocking lyrics lol, if it was a proper band they woulda been diced n sliced if their album was ghostwritten but cause it's Diddy no one seems to mind o_O seriously

See..I really enjoy this album...and I think it is his best...but you have your oppinion...I have mine....I'm cool with that...

I'm not letting anybody tell me that this is a bad album...because it's not...

If I compare that to other CDs this year in Hip Hop...beatwise it's clearly the best so far...

Apparently its only 60% brilliant, but it must be noted that E! Weekly and AMG are at times extremely liberal reviewers, AMG gave the likes of the Crazy Frog 3stars. According tot the fans or people that baught the album this album is average at best as is the case at itunes............... rousing result all signs point to mediocre.

You can't take critics like this serious...everyone can write some like that...go to billboard.com and see what they write...

I know but the average of Meta Critics 60, which is comprised of major review publishers only, including the likes of The Observer, Billboard, etc. And in a world where nearly every album on Itunes is rated at 4 1/2 or 5 stars u got to say some people are mighty upset :p

Why not? That's their job. Look at the user reviews, they are supposed to be much higher than critics most times.

The album is just weak. And even though good hip hop wasn't that big of a force this year, it still shows me that you haven't heard much because of your statement "If I compare that to other CDs this year in Hip Hop...beatwise it's clearly the best so far..." There is much better. Heck, I don't even listen to hip hop as much as some other genres and I can tell you that. And you must not listen to real hip hop. Just the fake stuff on the radio. That's rap and R&B.

Not trying to bag ya, I just know there is much better.

Yeah...I'm open to all oppinions....

if people don't like it, it's cool with me...

I like it and that's not gonna change...

I also don't support ghost-writing..

but it happens all the time...we don't even notice it when other artists do that...I think it's cool that Diddy doesn't hide that he works with ghost writers...he's honest to his fans....
