I had two calls frorm someone that indicated they were from Microsoft, they wanted to access my computer due to a problem.
They indicated their Microsoft Helpdesk was in California but the tl: number was from NY ((917) 512 2926.
They indicated my IP address was sending errors to Microsoft and my computer would crash soon if I didn't get help. They ask to look at my computer: Click, Start,, right click Computer, click Manager, click Event viewer, Custom Views, Adminstrative Events:
then I see 505 events Errors & Warnings. Are these crash problems and does Microsoft make these calls? Thank you
