"Download That ****" - Mike Shinoda

Many years ago mike shinoda said that thingy while in a concert which has till now resulted in a lot of controversies and many fans nearly fought between themselves because some ppl thought that he didnt meant to say that we should download albums and other copyrighted material ... while on the other hand, some thought he meant to said that linkin park somewhat supports downloading music.

A few days ago while browsing to the official linkin park's page on youtube it nearly became a shock to me that whole DVD of linkin park's live in texas was available not only to watch but also download it for FREE !! (yup, u can download videos from youtube:p ) . Since that dvd is also copyrighted and is still being sold, it confuses me why they made it available for people ?? i really think that linkin park (not the label) somewhat still supports downloading their content ... is it true? or downloading it from youtube is illegal or not?

linkin park supports it, not warner brothers. but if linkin park puts content online, they'd get warner bros. on their *****.

whats the link anyway? is it from linkinpark itself, or someone else?

I think their youtube channel is in cooperation with WB...and the Live In Texas show is not in great quality on their....also the CD/DVD set is like 7 bucks now...so...a real fan will still buy it.

its up on LP's youtube channel, to promote LP.

they arent going to lose alot of money caus of YouTube.

people would watch the youtube versions, go out and buy the dvd, caus you tube quality sucks ***.

its not that big a secret...the site is called ww.keepvid.com, just input the link...and bobs ur uncle, u get a .flv file(after uve renamed it), if u want back to mpeg...watever, u can just get a converter. its not rocket science...you can do this for googlevideo...etc

alot of official stuff is on youtube...if u search close enough. alot of live clips of LiT are on the site, mind you most of em are the ones ripped off tv,like when MTV had a LiT special where they pllayed like...the released singles like numb,faint...etc

but it was ripped from TV ... but the thing i m asking it is OFFICIAL DVD !! not ripped from anywhere ... because u know for example in my country, sadly official albums r not available so lots almost all people download it from internet !! :S

If I had a label with one of the best selling rockbands of the 21st century, **** i would be greedy aswell. Labels are here to make money, not lose money ;)

Kinda off topic, but i never got that part when they are singing like FTI or something and suddenly this guy wearing a pink fluffy fat and green gloves comes on and starts boxing them...

On topic. LP really wouldn't mind that much, it's just that WB does. And they get all faggy when ppl do. But it's not like they can actually do too much about it except being faggy and occasionally sue people... lol.

What a coinceidence, I JUST noticed that LP had the full LIT show on youtube YESTERDAY. :p

If you dont OWN it, feel free to watch it on youtube of course, but please dont be a nooby and simply download it. Go buy it! It dosent cost that much, support the band.
