Drunken Russian Pasta (Serves 2)

Ingredients:

1/2 small onion

2 garlic cloves

olive oil

1 large can diced tomatoes

1 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. basil

chili flakes to taste

S & P to taste

2-3 shots of vodka

1/2 cup heavy cream (do not use half and half or sauce will separate)

1/4 cup chopped flat leaf italian parsely

fettuccini, linguini or penne

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent in a medium saucepan. Add basil, oregano, chili flakes, S & P , and vodka until a simmer is reached. Add the tomatoes and simmer until reduced by 1/3 and add cream. Add fresh parsely. Toss with pasta of choice and serve with crusty bread.

To *** it up a bit, serve a grilled chicken breast on top or grilled shrimp or bay scallops....and don't forget a shot or two or three of chilled vodka. Cheers!

You can make it without vodka. Just make sure to reduce the tomatoes well to concentrate the flavor before adding the cream. I am totally guessing on the amount of vodka used to since I just pour it . However i figure a shot and a bit per person is good. Make sure to cook the alcohol off.

Sounds fantabulous!!!!!
I'm a thinker, someone who makes the best of a situation especially when it comes to making the most out of alcohol.

If you want to see me as a revolutionary. I'll deny it, act humble, but still accept the adulation.

I'll give you some adulation if you cook up this dish for me.

Honestly cooking isn't my strong suit. I'm way more of a left brain person.

I can bake quite a bunch of stuff because baking is much more scientific, and based on chemistry, where as cooking is more, by "feel" or "taste".

So....I'll do the cooking and you do the baking and afterwards we'll adulate one another 'till the break of dawn?

OK
Awww, you're cute when you blush.

I like a man who blushes. My brother does and everyone teases him about it...lol. He's good natured so he takes it in stride.

I blush like crazy, too. I'm like a **** school girl. It sucks.
