I have an ASUS motherboard with dual video connectors (a VGA and a DVI). There's two Gateway monitors attached. I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise.
The system been working just fine for over a year. Today, it now seems to be having trouble supporting dual monitors. Windows sees one monitor, and the 2nd monitor it cycles -- it sees the monitor for a moment, then it doesn't, then it sees the monitor, then it doesn't...
If I unplug the video cable from first monitor, then Windows will see and use the 2nd monitor. So, I'm thinking it's more likely a software issue than a hardware issue. Windows Update last updated on the 2nd. I've reboot the computer. I reseated the cables.
Does anyone have any ideas of what to do?
