Hey guys

I was just wondering if anyone knew how I could burn a video file to play on a dvd, but also have an album, caus I want to burn The Making Of The Rising Tied and The Rising Tied on a dvd to play on my DVD player.

I hope that makes sense...

Can anyone help?

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

You want to make a custom DVD of The Making of The Rising Tied PLUS The Rising Tied.

This is close to impossible unless you have a LOT of money. Ripping the TRT DVD is the easy part, but then you would have to edit the menus to accomodate for a DVD-Audio section, which would have to be made from scratch anyway. DVD-Audio burning software is INSANELY expensive, and not too commonly provided illegally either. And editing the TRT DVD menus would be a ***** as well.

It's a really sweet idea, but I just don't see it happening.

I believe that on the Frat Party DVD, 1STP KLOSR and High Voltage appear to be DVD-Audio, but are actually DVD-Video with a static image. That is a possibility as well, but still very difficult.

P.S. Using AVI as a source for a DVD is a bad idea, especially when you have the DVD itself.

Doesnt Nero allow custom menus for DVD's? Just put in the rising tied feature presentation and the audio and work from there :)

We're not talking about MAKING a menu. We're talking about EDITING a menu, a professionally made one at that. Good luck, because this it what you would have to do:

A. Make it in DVD-Audio format and add the TRT DVD into it as "custom DVD-Video content"

OR

B. Make a video file for each of the tracks with a static image as the video and then add them to the TRT DVD image. You'll have to rip all the TRT tracks in WAVE format to preserve the track length (so gaps aren't added) and make MPEG files for maximum picture and audio quality.

And, either way, you'll have to edit the menu, which, last I checked, is still a *****.
