Hi -
We are looking to deploy 1) Microsoft Word Macro-Enabled Template (.dotm) and 2) Microsoft Power Point 97-2003 Presentation (.ppt) template to all our Office 2010 users.
I tried to create the following key to test the deployment - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\Spotlight\Providers\[ProviderName] - But I don't get any results - No error messages either. All our users are currently using Windows XP 32 bit. Yet, within the next six months we will be migrating to Windows 7 64bit. Therefore, I would like to make sure that whatever the fix, it will be compatible with either OS.
Is there a way to deploy these templates via GPO?
