My O/S: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Attempting to download- "Windows XP Mode". During the download process there is a step that mentions, Windows Validation Required and I click on Continue.
A notification window appears title & message: "Windows Activation Technologies Update installation failed. Error information - 0x80072EE2".
Windows is Activated

Genuine Microsoft Sofware logo is displayed on the bottom right corner of Computer properties
Windows Update Service is started
