I followed the instructions here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee523217(WS.10).aspx to create a bootable USB stick with Imagex on it to capture my sysprepped windows 7 box.
When I run it using the following command
E:\imagex /compress fast /check /flags “Enterprise” /capture X:
E:\install.wim “Windows 7 Enterprise Custom”
it errors out with the following error:
[ERROR] X:\Windows\security\database\edb.log (Error = 32)
Error imaging drive [X:\]
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
I have tried updating the version of imagex that I am using as suggested by the following Microsoft KB article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2525084
Still same error.
Has anyone run into this? I need to get this image created so that I can deploy it with my WDS server.
I am using the latest AIK for Windows 7.
