NFL running back Chris Johnson was wounded in the shoulder early Sunday in a drive-by shooting in Florida that left one man dead, US media reported. The Orlando Sentinel, citing the Orange County, Florida, Sheriff's Office, reported that the shooting took place shortly after 4am local time. Witnesses told authorities that an unknown vehicle pulled up at a red light beside the Jeep Johnson was riding in and opened fire. Johnson, who attended Olympia High School in Orlando, was recently released by the New York Jets after the organization did not pick up his contract option.
