Guest Ed Bentall
Hi, I am a home worker and use Office 2010 including Outlook. My company has set up a basic macro in an Excel spreadsheet which tells the computer to send a copy of the spreadsheet to particular email recipients. On all the other 12 employees' machines it throws up a warning message about a program accessing email address information or sending email on their behalf but on mine this does not happen. The problem is that I WANT it to happen so I can save the file WITHOUT sending the email. I have done some troubleshooting, and believe the cause to be MSE. My reason for thinking this is that when I go to Outlook Trust Centre, and click on "Programmatic Access" the options are greyed out and I have an antivirus status of "valid". Really hope someone can help turn on my warnings WITHOUT having to turn off MSE as it is my only defence against the cyber nasties :o) Thanks for anyone's help! Ed Continue reading...
