Feng Shanshan of China produced a barnstorming finish to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the LPGA Tour Championship on Thursday with a six-under-par 66 in Florida. The big-hitting 27-year-old from Guangzhou carded four birdies over the final six holes to pull clear of the field after a low-scoring first day at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples. Feng, chasing her third win of 2016 after victories at the Toto Japan Classic and Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, made two birdies and seven pars to reach the turn at two under.
