It's fig season, and here's my favorite appetizer.
Figs with Proscuitto, Basil and Goat Cheese
Pretty self-explanatory:
Take half of a turkey fig or golden fig (fresh ofcourse), place a piece of goat cheese on top with a leaf of fresh basil. Take a slice of prosciutto and wrap arount the fig and it's contents.
Eat as is, or place on the grill and warm them a little until the cheese is warm and the prosciutto is crispy.
