Flight By Midnight

Ok I diddnt know if I should have posted this yet, but I did anyway.

 

But yeah this is a band im in and we are called Flight By Midnight, mainly dealing with the way our lyrics keep coming out our gutarist suggested the name. We have recently started working really hard due to a couple of shows we may preform at later this year and we were tired of just having meetings and coming up with ideas and forgetting them.

 

Okay there are 4 songs on our myspace. Most fo them are lacking other instruments mainly due to band memebers on vacation. Vocals havent been recorded just yet.

 

Boardwalk Thunder- Our closest sounding-to-studio song we've made. All recordings are by me, yes i stood outside in a storm :-P . Just yesterday we recorded a better version of this song, but I havent had the chance to work on it yet.

 

Demo 3- I just put this up about 5 min. ago, its not done but so far its my favorite out of the bunch, I guess just because of the energy of the song, and what I see it becoming eventually.

 

Untitled Demo 1- Our first recording ever, back in April we went to our High Schools recording studio, not very great ill add, and our bassist, guitarist, and drummer pretty much went 1..2..3.. and went off the top of thier heads and no practice, we threw out the song but just recently brought it back with more of a melody and not as repeditive as this demo.

 

Demo Tack 2 Acoustic- this song is pretty much the beginning stages of "Boardwalk Thunder" we liked the tone of it so much that we decided to keep it.

Sorry everything sounds so incomplete at the moment but we wanted people to check out what we have so far. Very soon we will have vocals, drums, backing guitar and all that extra stuff on the tracks. Oh if you like it add us haha we like the support and stuff!

Thanks Guys, and yeah money is hard at the start, but hey as long as were having fun for now its all good, but we have a show Sep. 13th that were looking at but we have to get busy!

Added a new song called Spooky Happiness, you'll see what we mean when we named it. Bad quality because its just us in the basement with a laptop. Were thinkin about goin in a studio soon, we just need to finish wriitng a couple more songs.

 

We're trying to recreate this song in Fruity Loops or some kind of mixing program but we dont have one at our disposal haha.

And where is the drum, it does say you have a singer and a drummer, do they not record too?

 

BY the way, I have a recommendation, if you have 100 dollars, go to a music store, and ask for the Amplitude Live Pack, with the Stealth Plug, it's a USB port into your computer, easy as shit, no long installations, nothing. Best purchase!

Hmm and thanks for the purchasing adviceI need to look into it, so its pretty good you say? Cause we really want some stuff where we can record cleanly, because at the moment we dont have enough money to run into a studio right now.

 

Hmm Spooky Happiness has drums, it has everything except out backup guitarist and the vocalists.

Another random update thing we bought ACID 7 and we just started experimentig with it, so far this is what we have, transitions are sloppy and some parts arent synced just right. But it gives you an idea. And we have a new name as a band which you'll probobaly find out if you download Jeezy's LPF Sessions 2 mixtape when it comes out.

Yeah haha I do every part, we have a girl singer but that was just for the heck of it. But yeah thats me screaming.

Haha yeah this kid has improves so much so has the drummer. They changed they way they play and it really helped them out, proud of them :'( I watched em grow up

One more thing for now, the first song we eevr put on our myspace, and our first good sounding song is changed up a litle but, has bee but I never put it up so below it will be there. Also looking at some local studios now, but scared cause people are telling me we will get effed over somehow by pricing as a new band.

Yes its one of the first songs we expect to do in the studio when we get the chance! Only its going to be recorded both in acoustic and regular guitar. Hopefully some live strings in the background. This was the first song we ever composed and know all the lyrics for. I have it live at a party we were at but I gotta find it!
