for all us e85 guys, VP introduces "C85"

Very cool! I wonder how much it cost compared to regular e85. The only reason I switch is because it makes good power at a cheap price. It might defeat the purpose if it comes out to be $6-8 a gallon. I'd love to see back to back dyno runs of conventional e85 vs c85.......I wish I knew of someone with a dyno that ran e85 ;)

Just found this on a drag racing forum. A guy says he called and talked to a vp rep for pricing and this is what they told him "$81.05 for 5 gal, $766.80 for 55 gal"

Wow! I hope thats not right....otherwise I'll keep my crappy pump e85! Lol

Looks like this stuff is popping up on the forums quick! So far that price of around $16/gal looks to be true. VP is either crazy or stupid thinking that people will spend that much over $3/gal at the pump. I see people are making consistent E85 just by buying E98 and mixing their own for around $4/gal. I'm confused with their decision of introducing this stuff. In the mean time, we'll have to wait for some more facts to come out.

I just saw that Sunoco sells e85 at $7/gal! That's crazy but you know VP's C85 is gonna be a lot more than that. Whatta bust.

**** $16/gal? That's crazy expensive. I haven't had much luck finding e85 near central california but shoot, for that price I'll just keep driving far with a drum in my truck.
