Former Nun Says Mother Teresa A Fraud

Susan Shields was a nun working with Mother Teresa's Missionaries of
Charity for nine and a half years, in the Bronx, Rome, and San
Francisco. She now says that millions of dollars given to them
intended for the poor never was given to the poor and remains in
Vatican bank accounts. This is a church that says they are helping the
poor, but when an election rolls around the priest will tell you to
look at a magazine at the back of the church, and in it the Bishop's
Council will tell you to vote for the anti-poor Republican Party. This
is the party which pushed hard for welfare reform that ended our
comprehensive welfare system, and that has cut benefits for the poor
and needy of America every year since Bush became president. To have
one free meal for the poor a month and then encourage millions of
members to vote Republican which has made huge cuts to the poor and
needy isn't really helping. This is hurting more than helping. This
same Bishop's Conference recently gave their full support to amnesty
for as many as 20,000,000 illegal aliens living in the US, even though
70% of Americans oppose this and this would be a further stress on our
already endangered Social Security system, just because most of them
are Catholics. I had a Catholic friend once who told me they were
always talking about helping the poor but he was desperately poor and
they never helped him. Isn't that kind of the definition of hypocrisy?
