“No ****, mate you were talking again, something about Joe and May. I tell ya I wonder what goes through your head sometimes.”


“Well I’m sorry Paul, what am I supposed to do about it, there’s nothing that can be done about my talking.”


“Just shut up and let me sleep”

 

 


Paul and James are the best of mates. They have been friends ever since well forever. Their parents have known each other since high school and so it was natural for James and Paul to be friends to.

 


BEEP BEEP BEEP

 


“Paul, I wish you would get a new alarm that one does my f*cking nut, every ****** morning same noise, BEEP BEEP BEEP”


“OH right and your sleep talking doesn’t **** me off every ****** night to”


“I never said that did I, you can change your alarm I can’t change my sleep talking”

 


“SHUT UP YOU TWO AND COME DOWN FOR BREAKFAST”

 


“Yeah Breakfast I love your mum’s bacon and eggs”


“What ever Paul I know you want to get it on with ma mum”


“EW! No way dude that’s sick she is like my mum too ya know”

 


“So Paul, when are your parents coming back from Thailand?”


“I don’t really know Mrs. Locke, they never set a date to come back I think that’s the whole point of travelling I guess. I will be talking to them later on in the week so ill ask them”

 


“Don’t worry I was only asking, anyway you better get off, you will be late for school.”

 


James and Paul packed their bags and headed off to school.

At school James and Paul settle into their desks and wonder who is taking there class today, as they have has a sub for the last 6 weeks due to Mrs Alders having cancer.

 


“Right you horrible lot get your books out and turn to page 194 we are starting with probability”


Shouted Mr Hennessey.

 


“What the probability this teacher will make my life ****”


“Who said that” MR Hennessey piped, while the class where laughing at Paul and James


“You two get OUT NOW”

 


“WTF we aint done anything sir”


“I don’t care get out”

 


James and Paul packed their bags and left the class.


Walking down the hall they bumped in to two new pupils

 


“HI” said one of the new students


“Im Jo this is my sister May”


“Whoa”


James shouted


“Dude I was talking about these two in ma sleep” James whispered to Paul


“Yeah dude”

 


There was an awkward silence between the four of them,


“OH, sorry im Paul this is mate best mate James”


“We haven’t seen you around here before”


“No we have just moved from London to Bournemouth. Our parents had a huge divorce and you mum got custody of us so we had to move”

 


“That sucks” said James


“What class do you have now then?”


“Math”


“Bah! Forget that we have just been kicked out of there, hey why don’t you come with us we are going out of school for food, fancy coming to get some chips?”

 


May looked a little worried


“Um said we have to stay in school, we have to make this work”


“crew that she was the one who made us come here, ok ill come with ya, May can stay here I don’t care go enjoy your math class like I give a ****”


“Fine ill come but don’t blame me if we get caught”


“We wont” James said


“Yeah we do this all the time you will be alright with us”

 


The Four of them left the school and went up the road for food
