What are the Democrats in Congress doing about this?

Honor their commitments.

Fulfil their promises.

Do their job.

Is not my job to know what they should do.

The Democrats said they'd lower gas prices.

Gas prices went UP.

The Democrats said they'd lower gas prices.

What are the Democrats in Congress doing about this?

high gas price is NOT all Bush fault, OPEC adjust their oil based on
inflation. Use inflation calculator to calculate $40 / barrel in 1980
to current dollar, the oil price is in line with inflation.
While Bush is directly linked to this state of economy in many ways
down the road, but it is a different issue.
