German Far-Right Party Leader Charged

BERLIN -

Prosecutors charged the head of Germany's top far-right party Tuesday

with incitement and defamation for targeting nonwhite players on the

nation's soccer team in a pamphlet printed before the 2006 World Cup.

Prosecutor Simone Herbeth said in a statement that Udo Voigt, head of

the National Democratic Party, or NPD, was charged with incitement and

defamation over the pamphlets.

NPD spokesman Klaus Beier and Frank Schwerdt, a leading member, have

also been charged, Herbeth said.

Speaking of which, the Rev. Wright is a lot whiter

than many blacks, so maybe he was overcompensating.

The way you just described how awful Germany is, I suppose you're

surprised that they have the largest economy in Europe. Far from not

being allowed to speak freely, Germany has many political parties.

You can say it's your business but until you can vote in Germany you

don't actually have a say. Anyway, because of their history, certain

things are off limits for the time being. However, they do have what

we call freedom, as they allow the National Democratic Party.

It has to do with NAZI and nationalist ideas that caused the

Holocaust. It is a very dark time in their history and they don't

want it repeated. They know these elements exist within Germany and

perhaps one day their attitude will change. I have personal

experience with this, as a musician. I had to get permission from

their government in order to use certain artwork and I had the same

complaint that you do now. In fact what I was doing was not in line

with any nationalist ideology, but I still had to get permission. And

I did because they determined that I was not a threat nor encouraging

certain behavior. So that's actually a step in a good direction for

them. It's not like how we allow the KKK or WAR to parade here; they

never had control of this country or started a war that caused

millions of deaths. It's their issue, not ours, and for you to try to

compare it to what you know in your experience here is futile and

pointless.

It's, er, "encoded," is it, genius? Um, why? And how does one DEcode it? Is

the codec in the BoR, too, genius?

Perhaps your subliterate stupid ass meant to say it is CODIFIED in the BoR,

yes?
