Adding another proven pitcher to their already-strong rotation, the San Francisco Giants announced Tuesday they have signed a two-year Major League Baseball deal with three-time All-Star Tim Hudson. The contract for the 38-year-old right-hander, reportedly worth $23 million, follows last month's two-year deal for $35 million to keep two-time National League Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum. Hudson, whose 2013 season ended in late July with a fractured right ankle, spend nine years with Atlanta after starting his major league career across the bay from the Giants with six seasons in Oakland before being traded to the Braves in December of 2004.
