Good charlotte or green day?

Which one do you like better... i like them both the same

greenday hands down lol ....no offense to good charlotte or anything i just preferred them a lil bit more back in the day they were themselves and not food

I love Good Charlotte! I know some of Green Day but not as much as Good Charlotte, sooo....what I do know though, I'd say GC!

No offense to Good Charlotte fans, but Green Day are much better. Better musicianship, better lyrics, better songs, more talent. I prefer Green Day But fact is they've been around much longer than GC. So maybe some years from now GC will be better, or equal who knows? They were good in the beginning, but then their music got kinda boring. In my opinion, of course...

like both but i have to say i prefere greenday aswell...they're so much brtter lyrically and i have to say this visually (i know a band shouldnt be based on its looks but i have to admit it does help a little.)

I pick neither. As far as music goes, both bands have nothing to show that really truly stands out. Both bands have a poor songwriting skillset. Especially GC. The lyrics of both bands are poor. Especially GC. Both have little to no innovation. Especially GC. At least Green Day thought they were doing something new with their latest. In reality, they weren't. Both bands go overboard with their image in order to "look cooler" and sell more records for their corporate hungry money-eating labels. Especially GC. Both bands have only enough talent for their record labels to promote them and make money. Both bands represent bad music. Especially GC. If I had to pick which band is better, Green Day is the obvious answer.

Green Day is no pack of geniuses, but I prefer them over Good Charlotte. I like alot of thier songs, especially Warning and Good Ridence(Time Of Your Life)

Like I said, I like Good Charlotte better, because out of the songs I have heard of Green Day, they're cool and all, I just like Good Charlotte better. In my opinion, they have great lyrics. They are very honest in their songs and let people know that they aren't alone in the world and I think that is great b/c I'm sure a lot of people need that. They need songs that relate to them. I'm not saying GD aren't honest and all, I only have a greatest hits type album by them so obviously I don't know all their songs, but anyway I know all of Good Charlotte's and if you listen I'm sure you'll see if only in a few that they care about their fans and want them to be happy and just live their life....so yeah, I love Good Charlotte and for me I'd pick them as the best. And just to end this, please don't go on about how I don't that many songs of Green Day so I can't really decide and I know that, but personally out of the songs I have heard I think my opinion would say the same. Yah, I might have more GD songs that I like, but still...okay, I'll shut up now! hopefully they both continue to live their dreams!!

No offense, but why are Good Charlottes' songs inappropriate for their age? Is it because they talk about teenage stuff? Because that is when they had a tough time and they kind of aim their music towards teenagers b/c that is when people go through a lot of drama in their lives and they basically let people know they aren't alone and stuff. but their third album, they talk about now and stuff on the newer one. but yeah...i was just wondering. i'm not saying you have to like them, i don't care either way, i was just wondering why you thought their songs were inappropriate??
