Five women killed in Chicago-area store shooting

By John Gress
Reuters
Saturday, February 2, 2008

Tinley Park, Illinois (Reuters) - Five women were shot and
killed inside a clothing store at a suburban Chicago
shopping center on Saturday in what police said appeared to
be a robbery.

Police were searching for a lone gunman spotted outside the
store by a witness, but said they had not identified him.

The victims were all found in the back of the Lane Bryant
women's clothing store in an area not frequented by
customers, Tinley Park Police Sgt. T.J. Grady told
reporters.

It appeared to be a robbery that "went rather poorly," he
added.

Grady declined to say whether the victims were customers or
employees of the store, located at the Brookside
Marketplace shopping center in a southwestern suburb of
Chicago.

Police said they received a call at 10:44 a.m. CST
reporting multiple gunshot victims inside the store.

The suspect had fled and they issued an alert for a man
wearing black jeans, a black waist-length winter coat and a
black knit cap, police said.

No doubt you believe that cooperation with the predator is the best way to
go.

if guns were illegal in public places, and he did not have a gun, he would
not have ben able to kill so many wonderful, taxpaying, life lvoing
productive innocent citizens who would have made the tax cuts possible that
gun nuts on the other hands so love to have.

Handguns ARE illegal in that section of the US.
That's why only the LAWFUL/Unarmed people were shot, and the criminal
got away.

But then again, you are a retard that believes something can be
univented, AND that criminals will obey the law.

Say! Isn't robbery and murder already against the law, you half-wit?

So you admit there is a problem with illegal guns in this country?

Thanks!!!!

Apparently, you just admitted that YOU can't read or comprehend, as I

Guns are illegal in public places in Illinois.
And you have to have a permit to own either a gun or ammunition.

As usual, the criminal didn't obey the law.

I'm not sure how to take the thread subject "Gun Nut......" The OP could
have said "Robber Massacres....." or "Bandit massacres...."

Ohhhhh, I see...."gun nut" is a general prejorative term to lump legal gun
owners together with criminals, so that the anti-gun agenda can be fanned.

Odd, last time I checked it is illegal to kill people. Seems he didn't obey
that law, so what makes you think he would obey any law about guns????????

We've been saying that all along. However, all the legislation that you
schmucks wish to pass only affects the legal gunowner. That's a problem.
Oh, look....a shooting at the mall. Let's take guns away from those who
didn't do it. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Please explain the process by which a piece of metal and plastic turns a
normal person into a nut.

According to you, if the shooter had a hand gun it was illegal there.

Right?

Your words??????

You are opposed to guns and you will twist anything and everything towards
that end. So don't bother to confuse you with facts, or point out the
logical flaws of your position.

So how did I do? Did I get it right?

Ok...I'll switch to top posting, since you did.

The point is, if the women had been held at knife point, the poster would
not have written a subject of "Knife Nut Massacres....." But, with a gun
involved, anti-gunners use inflammatory language.
