There is no Leo Lyon, Peter Popanz or

Fred Forester

Lyon, Popanz & Forester is a created name. Mostly, it is a way to avoid the sort of ego trip that leads to names like: Joe Founder & Associates (too informal) or Joseph T. Founder & Associates (no one ever calls him Joseph and it sounds stuffy). We looked for something clever that describes what we do and allowes some flexibility for the future. The good names were taken, and even if we found one we realized we would have to fight to protect it. So we decided to have some fun and just make up a name.

Also in the criteria, it says the name had to be:

"It had to be unique enough that it is VERY unlikely that anyone else would have it "

That bit flew out of the window, LPF will forever be Linkin Park Forums!

Lol no, I've never tried that address. I never type in the URL, I have LPF on my favourites list and I just come in through that.
