help with hotmail please? how do i actually get to communicate with someone directly?

I have recieved a worrying email where someone appears to have used my email address but from another account. The addresses look like this:

  Email address is removed for privacy

To Capri, Email address is removed for privacy

From: Capri ( Email address is removed for privacy )[/url]

Sent: 07 March 2012 16:26:52

To: Capri ( Email address is removed for privacy ); Email address is removed for privacy

Why does my email account seem to have sent this other person a very lengthy email and then this has seemingly come back to my account as if from this person but with my own email address as the sender attached to her name?? Can you tell me what's going on and what I can do?

PS I'm sure the forum selections I have made are worng but I am so frustrated by not being able to talk to any one and not really even understanding the questions about which forum this should go in. If anyone can help me I'd be really grateful.
