Help with windows Security Essentials and Windows Defender Offline Beta

I ran security essentials and it detected a threat and it told me to download Standalone System Sweeper. I click the Download now button and it takes me to a site to download Windows Defender Offline Beta so i did. I booted with my burned disk, scanned, and cleaned after it restarted my computer, I went to check windows Security Essentials and it says that i still have a threat so i tried using Windows Defender Offline Beta again doing a full scan but it says i have no threats, so i restart my computer again and Windows Security Essentials Still says i have a threat can anyone help?
