Hey, it's Ali.....remember me?

Soooooo.....yeah.

Sorry I haven't been around, but things in Ali world have been very crazy these last couple of months.

Work has been beyond horrible. I’ve had more sh t break than you can even imagine. The water heater went to hell, I had to have a new compressor installed in my ice cream machine and after that I had to have 5 service calls for my chocolate side only to find out the water valve wasn’t fully opened…a completely simple fix that everyone seemed to overlook. My water started backing up which led to the discovery that my sewer system had collapsed so that had to be replaced from the building all the way out to the septic tank. The chicken broaster broke so that was down for a week for parts and labor. My neighbor to the east is building a storage unit and they’ve built up the groundwork so much that it’s going to cause flooding problems on my property and now I have that to contend with which is really going to suck because she is a complete and utter bitch. AND the weather has been sh t so business has been very slow. If I manage to break even this year, it will be a damn miracle.

The rain has also caused extensive flooding around town and I wound up with water in my basement at home. We also had a huge windstorm that tore the gutters right off the front of my house and now I have a leak in my living room that was never there before.

RJ is gone. I realized I didn’t love him, and that my true feelings were for a man in California who I have been communicating with for about a year now. One day it hit me and since I knew I had no future with RJ I told him the truth and said we needed to end things. He FLIPPED OUT. He threatened my life, my business, my finances and my reputation and harassed me to the point where I had to threaten him with legal intervention and a restraining order. Luckily that seems to have all calmed down and all has been quiet for a few weeks now so that is good.

So.....I have a new man in my life. His name is Dennis and he’s moving here on Saturday. I know that sounds crazy but hey…when have you folks ever known me not to be a little off my nut? He’s coming here because I’m still tied to my business (even though I do have a possible buyer and we are working on striking up a purchase agreement within the next week or two) and he has a great job opportunity here so we are going to see how he likes it and go from there. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to start a life with him. He really understands me and makes me very, very, very, VERY happy.

And the really crazy thing? Sur5r predicted him coming into my life years ago. I will be making a post on USM to let her know she was right on the money with this one.

I’m really sorry I’ve been MIA for so long. I’ve missed keeping up with all of you and I know I have a lot of catching up to do. I won’t be able to stop in much during the summer because I have a lot on my plate still, but I will try to not let months go by and force eddo and IWS to send out a search party next time....lol.

Well all lives have problems, but not all lives have love, I will wish you luck on things working out for you and Dennis, with a strong love, all hardships can be more easily handled.
