Hollins set to coach Nets

Lionel Hollins reached tentative agreement Wednesday to become head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, replacing Jason Kidd. The announcement comes just two days after Kidd's decision to leave after just one season as Nets coach. "We are very excited to welcome Lionel as the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets," Nets general manager Billy King said. Kidd reportedly wanted more control in the organization and when his request was denied, he went after being given the head coaching job with the Milwaukee Bucks.
