Any guesses if it is possibly a 4 wheeler? It is ALL NEW, UN NAMED and magazine crowd worthy meaning not a crf50 or some crap..... Im guessing a full race 2 or 4 wheeler. 2 wheeler does not sound promising to me I think a 4 wheeler........

anyone else?

Talked to an industry friend, said I'd like what he got a couple pics of...... I made sure he was out with Honda and not at the strip club.

I really hope they don't do fuel injection. I love tuning carbs, not punching keys on a computer to get your electric motor to run properly

Its not too bad tuning EFI, but I have to agree. I personally love figuring out a carb issue.

It's easy as long as their is a pre-programmed map from Dynojet or whoever's box you're using. Or if you have a Wideband AF Sensor and the want to drill a hole in your header..

bring back the 04/05 motor... updated. a good efi wouldnt be bad and i would bet on the new 450R having it since the CRF has it. i would also bet on it having an aluminum frame. anyway... how are the aluminum frames holding up on bikes and quads like the KFX450R compared to steel frames?

Yeah i bet it will have EFI and an aluminum frame since thats what all the other 450's have. And i have never really heard of anyone breaking a KFX or YFZR frame, or any of the bike frames, not like the honda steel frames that some people break even with a gusset kit installed

The KFX frame is very well built. It's not a material issue if any others are breaking. If Honda does it right, aluminum would be a good thing. I like EFI itself, the power delivery and throttle response. Also fine tuning is easier than swapping out a bunch of jets, but I'm NOT a fan of all the electronics that go with it. The thing I liked MOST about my Honda was it was so simple, easy to work on and reliable. More tech means more room for bugs. Now with the MXR, I'm starting to enjoy working on a bike again... IMO of course.

Honda hasn't tested a new 4 wheeler yet...... This is a press day for a new unit. If a 4 wheeler which many suspect it will be bad ass
