I had been using Windows Security Essential 2011 for a while until it had some error during scan.

So I decided to uninstall it and re-install afterwards hoping the error I had before will be fixed.

First time i tried uninstalling the program, there was an error said it was unable to complete to remove the program and try restarting.

However, when I tried again to uninstall from Control Panel, the Windows Security Essential is not on the list and that was not only the thing got worth.

Now I cannot even open the Windows Live Essential program; it gives me an error code:0x8001064e and the only the thing I can do is press ok and window that says " An error has occurred in this Program. Try to open it again. If this problem continues, you'll need to reinstall Microsoft Security Client." closes. Of course, no chance in trying opening it again.

So as the error told me, I thought reinstalling would be the last way of solving this. I've downloaded exe file for the 32-bit one from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows/products/security-essentials.

When I opened the file, it seemed that was working until I bumped into another problem. Windows Installer window popped up and was said "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package `mp_ambits.msi' in the box below."

The box below has Browsing bar and it was selecting h:\607efca56b320efdf9\. The sign after h and the last one is supposed to be Japanese Yen mark but I don't know why its not showing like that although I copied and pasted.

Tried again by pressing OK and it cannot find a the path to "h:\607efca56b320efdf9\mp_ambits.msi" so I thought the missing piece to this problem was "mp_ambits.msi" file.

Lucky I was able to find the file easily; it was in the Microsoft Security Client Back up folder in C Drive Program file folder but when I selected the file through browser box in the Windows Installer popped up window and and press OK in the window, it still gave me the same message as before trying without selecting the "mp_ambits.msi" file.

I didn't know whatelse I could do so decided to press cancel in the Window Installer. Then the Microsoft Security Essential installation window changed the message and was telling me another error that set up wizard was not completely successful and told me to restart and try again.

This has been happening in last 3 days with 20 times restarting.

I have noticed some programing error can be prevented when you Run as administrator but did not work this time.

So only the lead to fix this problem seems like finding net work source "h:\607efca56b320efdf9\".

But i didn't know what network resource was so I tried putting it in the address bar in the Windows Explorer and searched looked for a folder but could't find it.

Then with internet browsers, IE and Google Chrome, I have failed to find anything related.

Afterwards, I have created a folder in H drive named "607efca56b320efdf9" and copied file of "mp_ambits.msi" but did not work either.

I tried everything I could have done and problem still occurs.

I even tired installing another security program but all of them were either unable to install or successfully installed but failure because of some other security programs block which I am assuming it is Windows Live Essential.

So How do I find network source "h:\607efca56b320efdf9\"?

My PC is running on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

I am very sorry about super long explanation of the problem but I wanted to let you know all the related thing that could have pulled the trigger of this crisis.
