How do I get rid of the quarantined BackdoorWin32?Cybot.B ?

I recently some how downloaded a virus and had to get on my computer in safe mode and I scanned with a Stinger and Microsoft Essentials and both came up with a BackdoorWin32/Cybot.B but I still have this on my computer but it is quarantined but my Essentials tells me to remove immediately and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could do this without paying for it? I am a intermediate computer person but I do know my way around, is this possible for me? My laptop seems to be much slower too. Thank you, Larry Sandgren
