Guest 47James57
I just purchased a new computer for my Wife for Christmas and I am having a devil of a time transferring her address book from Windows 98(Outlook 6) to Windows Live mail. I used export from the 98 program to transfer the data to a memory stick and from there I transferred(imported) it to contacts in Windows 7(64bit). When I click on the contacts icon, a list comes up with her contacts and if you right click on the email address/click on Action then Send E-mail an error message comes up stating that "there is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." I have worked on this for three days, with HP/my internet provider and Future shop and can not figure out how you associate/integrate the contacts list with windows live mail so I can send an email from the contacts list. Obviously I am missing something, Any suggestions or help would be appreciated thank you james Continue reading...
