How dumb do people think cops are?

I confess I am a criminal. A couple times a week I drink a beer on the way home. I always refuse the bag they offer. I do not see them offering the bags to soda buyers. I figure cops are smart enough that if they see someone drinking out of a bagged beverage that they know there is alcohol content in that beverage.
