How to remove vocals

You'll need to instal 2 things for this,

Vocal Remover for DirectX Plugin, which is free.

ACID Pro, which is $400. If you don't have 400 dollars, you can download the trial version and save as a wav. Then convert the wav into an mp3 with Audacity

1st open up ACID Pro. Select your track from the folder explorer at the bottom of the screen. Double click the track to add it to the audio editor, hit cancel when asked to beatmap it. Using the pencil tool(which is default) draw the entire track on to the timeline.

Once you've completed this you should see something like this,

;)

2nd, click the Master FX button located on the bottom right panel,

;)

3rd, you'll see the Plugin Chooser window pop up. Select AnalogX Vocal Remover, click add and then ok.

;)

4th, you'll see the Audio Plugin Controls, make sure "Remove Vocals" is the only button pressed. Leave this wondow open.

;)

5th, click file>Render As... Then save it as an mp3.

Its not a perfect process, heres a sample

Thanks for your help. I use Adobe Audition 1.5 software, which includes a whole set of tool to remove anything I want from tracks, so I'll keep usin it.

Ohh...thx, Ive been looking for how to do that...

Yah, it dosent work perfectly, but its still good enough that you could put other vocals on it and you wouldent notice the old vocals at all...

What version of ACID are you using? I wrote that tutorial for ACID Pro 4.0.

As long as you get the vocal remover pop-up window that has the button saying "Remove Vocals" you should be alright.

then i follow all the steps and it results in a silent audio ...
